Brunel House Care Home, Wiltshire
This new 65 bedroom care home, due to open early 2013, was the first acquistion for MedicX Healthfund in 2012. The transaction, brokered by care specialist adviser Chrstie + Co, is part of a series of acquisitions of specialist care homes operated by the award winning operator the Maria Mallaband Care Group.
Once complete, the new development will comprise a 65 bedroom care home as well as 18 luxury extra care apartments and four two bedroom cottages. Features of this high quality new facility include, a hair dressing salon, cafe, library, individually designed ensuite bedrooms surrounded by landscaped gardens.
Brunel House Care Home will set a new standard as a flagship care home for Maria Mallaband in the south west of England. The scheme benefits from being in close proximity to the heart of the local village which has an active community life with shops, school, post office and pub within easy reach.
